1950-1980

I had four sisters but I lost one. My second sister Ananthi died due to post partum haemorrhage at the young age of 29. The child could not be saved either. Her husband Viswanathan has since then remarried. She was a kind and caring person. I dedicated my second book to her memory.

My eldest sister Vasanthi and her husband Ramanathan live in Chennai, India. They have two children Muthu and Chithu.

My third sister Nachal is a professor of medicine. She and her husband Annamalai live in Bangalore, India, with their two children Vasanth & Alagu.

My fourth sister Shanthi is a botanist. Her husband and she live in Chennai. They have two children, Raja and Yegu. Yegu has recently joined the Kursk State Medical College in Russia for her undergraduate course in Medicine
