MITI Industry Excellence Awards 2006

SMR HR Technologies Sdn Bhd, the 100% owned subsidiary of SMR Technologies Berhad, was recently accorded a Merit Award in the MITI Industry Excellence Awards 2006 on 19th March 2007.

The award is distributed by the Ministry of Trade and Industry (MITI), to companies that demonstrate brand and export excellence.

MIHRM Promising HR Excellence Award 2006

SMR HR Technologies Sdn Bhd, announced as one of the Top 3 Finalists for Most Promising HR Excellence Award by Malaysian Institute of Human Resources Management (MIHRM) on 11th September 2006.

The Malaysia HR Awards 2006 is one initiative by the MIHRM to recognise best HR practices.

Deloitte Technology Fast500 Asia Pacific Award 2005

SMR HR Technologies won the 17th placing of the prestigious Deloitte Technology Fast500 Asia Pacific Award.

Dr. Palan received the award from the TMT Practice Lead Partner, (Technology, Media and Telecommunications) Deloitte Malaysia, Mr. Robert Tan at the award ceremony held on 8th December 2005 at Grand Hyatt, Hong Kong.

The Deloitte Technology Fast 500 Asia Pacific 2005 program recognizes technology companies that have achieved the fastest rates of annual revenue growth in Asia Pacific during the past three years. It covers those based in Australia, China, Hong Kong SAR, India, Indonesia, Japan, Macau, Malaysia, Philippines, New Zealand, Singapore, South Korea, Taiwan and Thailand.

Dr. Palan received the award from the Minister of Housing and Local Government Y.B. Dato' Seri Ong Ka Ting at the Award Ceremony held on 23rd September 2005 at Putra World Trade Centre.

The award aims to provide an effective platform to benchmark successful SMEs and to encourage more SMEs to strive for excellence in today's ever-changing competitive globalized marketplace.

Enterprise 50 Award 2005

SMR HR Technologies Sdn. Bhd. is one of the top winners of the prestigious Enterprise 50 Award.

Dr. Palan received the award from the Minister of International Trade and Industry Y.B. Datuk Seri Rafidah Aziz at the award ceremony held on 2nd September 2005 at Sunway Lagoon Resort Hotel.

The E50 Award held annually since 1997, selects 50 winners each year from participating companies from various industries. This award has been successful in promoting and showcasing competitive and resilient enterprises capable of facing global challenges in the true entrepreneurial spirit over the years.

SMI ICT Adoption Award 2004

SMR HR Technologies Sdn. Bhd. has won the SMI Information Communication Technology Adoption Award.

Dr. Palan received the award from the Honourable Minister for Human Resources Y.B. Datuk Wira Dr. Fong Chan Onn at the Award Ceremony held on 10th December 2004 at Sunway Lagoon Convention Centre.

The award recognises organisations that have successfully adopted Information Communications Technology in their operations and business.

HT Power Jobs Award

In a function held in Mumbai, India, Dr. Palan received the HT Power Jobs Awards for Global Contribution to HR.

The award honors 'Excellence in HR', recognizing the fearless new age Super Heroes, People, Organizations and Institutions, capable of leaving their footprints on the sands of a dynamic and very competitive global market.

The awards aim at recognizing people; organizations and institutions that have always been at the vanguard of change. The awards would be a benchmark to signify progress, in the changing world of business.

The 3rd Asia Pacific International Honesty Enterprise - Keris Award 2004

SMR HR Technologies Sdn. Bhd. is a winner of Keris Award 2004. The Keris Award aims to create a "credible business community" by indicating organisational commitment to ethical business practices.
